Delivering Excellence

The Sapere Center for Homeopathy (formerly The Nashville School) exists to inspire future homeopaths to practice the art of homeopathy with compassion, integrity, and respect for all beings.

Entering homeopathic practice requires that the practitioner takes on all that it is to be human, to be present in the client’s suffering, and to practice without judgment or prejudice. It is a demanding practice which requires continual personal development, solid integrity, deep humility, and profound love.

My homeopathic training includes completion of the courses provided by the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in San Francisco, California, as well as studies at ESSH with Vega Rozenberg. I have also attended classes or had tutorials with Jeremy Sherr, Louis Klein, Misha Norland, Ananda Zaren, Alize Timmerman, Robin Murphy, Rajan Sankaran, Manfred Mueller and many others. I have been certified as a Classical Homeopath by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, am trained in tautopathic therapy, and am a member in good standing with the North American Society of Homeopaths. I continue to be a student as well as a teacher and practitioner of homeopathy. I believe health care is a basic human right and should be available to everyone.  I do what I can to empower clients to take an active role in their health.

Alison began using homeopathy more than 20 years ago when her eldest daughter was teething. Several years later, that child had remarkable success with a classical homeopath after suffering from a severe illness that conventional and functional doctors had been unable to cure. The change in her daughter prompted Alison to attend homeopathy school to understand this health science better. She completed her education with the Nashville School of Homeopathy under Tanya Kell, CCH, RSHom(NA), and was additionally mentored by Kathleen Slonager, RN, DiHom, ADS, AE-C, CCH, and David Kempson, DipHom. Alison is an enthusiastic educator, and runs the East Tennessee Classical Homeopathy Study Group to help home users utilize homeopathy safely and effectively.
